The reform camping model has expanded over the years to include family and adult education, along with youth programs. As a result, the URJ Camp Institute For Living Judaism has become a community for all ages, all seasons, all of life. Jewish Educators agree that the summer spent in URJ Camps offer the most powerful means, along with Israel trips, of insuring our Jewish heritage in our children. After one's family and Synagogue, there is no other institution which offers more years of educational and personal development. many of the staff who spend summers together meet their future spouses and develop lifelong friendships.

The moment campers reach our gates, they enter a very special world where everyone feels a sense of connection, community and mishpacha (family). The individual spirit in nourished in a physically, psychologically and emotionally safe environment. This unique setting, combined with fun, friendships and a lifetime of positive memories, enables us to foster Judaism in a magnificent manner. A manner which has inspired hundreds of young people to become Rabbis, Educators, Cantors, Jewish professionals and lay leaders in Congregations and Jewish organizations.
